Product Information :

Elektro-mag M 615 P laboratory centrifuge features a fixed-angle rotor and a capacity of 6 pcs 15 ml tubes (6 x 15 ml), featuring 10 programs. Thanks to the PID control unit, centrifuge speed can be adjusted between 500 rpm and 5000 rpm. Maximum centrifugation force reaches up to 2515 x g.

Our laboratory centrifuges, included in our product range as the “P” model, feature a PID control system and a digital display. Thanks to the microprocessor-integrated program, rotation speed can be adjusted and it enables to operate  various options such as start time, interval time, and short-term operation modes allow for more controlled and precise centrifugation compared to budget-friendly models.

For added safety, a lid locking mechanism is included. This mechanism prevents the lid  being opened during operation.

Its electrostatically coated steel construction makes it a durable and long-lasting product.

What is Laboratory Centrifuge ?

A centrifuge is a laboratory device used to separate components of different densities in a solution. Its operating principle is based on centrifugal force. Tubes are placed inside a rotor capable of high-speed rotation, connected to a motor. The centrifugal force generated by the rotation forces  and the components of the solution in the tubes are forced toward the walls of the tubes. This effect causes the denser components of the solution to settle and collect at the bottom of the tube. Less denser componets are suspended or floats at the top or surface of the solution by completing the separation process.

Where the Laboratory Centrifuges are used ?

Laboratory centrifuges are a common equipment used in most academic, clinical, and research laboratories. They are used to purify cells, subcellular organelles, viruses, proteins, and nucleic acids. In short, they are used primarily in biology and chemistry laboratories to separate components in samples based on their density. They are frequently used for applications such as blood, cell, and molecular analysis.
